...FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A FROST ADVISORY... WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT THURSDAY.

CLEAR SKIES COMBINED WITH LIGHT WINDS AND A VERY COOL AIRMASS IN PLACE WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DROP TO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 30S BY SUNRISE. THIS WILL ALLOW AREAS OF FROST TO FORM, MAINLY IN THE NORMALLY COLDER AREAS. HOWEVER, NOT ALL AREAS WILL SEE THE FROST.

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.

It was hot here. Last time my sack sweated this much they were protected by a cup. Cold last night tho. Sack stayed warm.

Ok. Sorry, I was just going by the statistics and the weather services not acting like it was all that rare. The record lows for the area, for these dates, are in the 20s-30s according to climatological data. The average last frost/freeze for the entire state is May 4th from what I seen but varies greatly, with some having seen it as late as mid-June. Actually this site says Newton's is May 24.

While not a supporter, of Gore's theory that is, guess that (being rare) would help actually support it though, they say the first signs of "global warming" will be extremes in the weather pattern, haha [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif[/img]

While we're on this, I never understood these posts though in situations like previously here when there was just a couple of below average days but yet a week before and the weeks after actually saw many days well above average and setting record highs....most of the time I just assume no one is ever serious with it just in reaction to how Gore and his supporters go about this issue, which I can definitely understand, haha. Of course, this is all just small area observance and as we know, or should, its still going to be cold even with the "warming" no matter how Gore makes it out to be.
